README.MAZ FILE for MAZEMAKER (tm) Version 2.01

INTRODUCTION
MAZEMAKER is a game for Microsoft Windows(tm) Version 3.0 or higher. You can
probably guess that it is a maze game. The intent of the game is to present
you with the sort of challenges that a laboratory mouse faces rather than those
of an Adventure style game. Thus MAZEMAKER mazes look more like the ones you
might find in a puzzle book; but with some important differences. All
but the easiest mazes are three dimensional! And it is nearly impossible to
work a maze from the end.
MAZEMAKER mazes are also more complicated. When MAZEMAKER is started it
generates the "Maze of the Day." If, at first, you find the Maze of the
Day too difficult try the "EASY Maze of the Day" until you get the hang of it.
If you want to be shown how to attempt a maze, select DEMO from the GAME menu.
After you solve the Maze of the Day, you become eligible to attempt the "Maze
of the Week." When you solve this you can try the "Maze of the Month" and
ultimately the "Maze of the Year!"
There are other mazes and options too. You can probably figure them out by
exploring the menu options. If not, or if you want more information, look at
the text file MAZEMAKR.HLP. (This file may also be viewed while running
MAZEMAKER by selecting HELP.)
